The Klamath River is an excellent group rafting trip for youth groups, scouts and family rafting trips. Minimum group size for reservation is 12 people.
We limit each person's gear to 30 lbs each. Imagine a large plastic garbage bag. That's about the size of the dry bag that is issued to you. Limit your items and you will enjoy yourself even more. We suggest basic camping items such as sleeping bag, pad, ground cloth, tent and personal toiletry items. Check our what to bring rafting for wilderness trips. We start our Klamath trips in mid-June and encourage this multiple day trip to prepare you for other types of wilderness trips on the river. Minimum age is 8 years old. Minimum group size is (12). See below for calendar.
