Snake River Trip
End of Season Family Trip
We have a tradition here at WET River Trips that I strongly recommend all businesses incorporate. At the end of every season we go on a multi-day rafting trip.
Not only is it a great team building trip, it also gives us the opportunity to reconnect with each other and why we do what we do. This is invaluable, because after a long hard season of working hard day after day it is easy to find yourself so tired that you forget the true joys of your job and why you do what you do. Being able to provide this perk for our incredible staff also gives me the opportunity to thank them for all they do for WET River Trips, me, each other and our customers. All businesses are only as strong as their employees and a river trip is a great way to show them how much they are appreciated. Of course for us rafting is our passion. So, these trips give me a chance to share that passion with our staff and remember the joy we get by playing in boats on rivers.
The Snake River Canyon
This year we drove out to do a 5-Day trip on the Hell’s Canyon section of the Snake River on the Idaho-Oregon border. It far exceeded our expectations. The canyon, the deepest in the United States was spectacular, the water was warm, the rapids were fun but also spread out so that we had ample time to just relax and float, enjoying the scenery and each other, the camps were big and the food was delicious.
The Crew Makes the Trip
We worked together from start to finish to pull the trip off, everyone happily pitching in and helping each other out. We caught fish, saw bald eagles, swam, laughed and played on the river. At camp we danced under the stars, told stories and jokes around the campfire and deepened our bond for each other and what we do.
We’re lucky enough to have fun doing the same things we do for work
I can’t recommend taking your staff on a river trip enough to any company. There’s nothing like playing on rivers in rafts to bond your employees and bring joy and passion to their work. While I know not everyone is as fortunate as I am to own a rafting company and pull off taking their staff on a river trip on their own, we know how better than anyone else. If you are interested in taking your staff for a team building rafting trip let us know. It’s what we do not only for our job but for fun as well. So, we will make it easy from start to finish for you. Just give us a call or email us and we will take care of the rest. What do the classes mean?
