What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not white water rafting?
A recent guest on the Middle Fork told me that I’m living my best life. Lol! To me, that means filling my time with hiking, jogging, gardening, and jumping on the trampoline. I ski in the winter and try to catch live music or comedy with my husband whenever I can. My other job is as a Registered Nurse and I cohost a nursing podcast with some RN friends. I’m also into yoga, wine tasting, reading, and kitty snuggle time! There’s so much to enjoy about California. If you’re bored here, it’s your own dang fault!
Any tips for first-time rafters?
Try not to have too much fun. Rafting is addictive and you may end up as a raft guide.
Favorite nearby business or attraction?
I love Boeger Winery in Placerville. They have some tasty varietals and a friendly vibe.
Favorite song to listen to during summer?
Do I have to pick one? I love anything by Railroad Earth (they’re my favorite band). Also “Homegrown Tomatoes” by Guy Clark and “Lo Que Me Gusta a Mí” by Juanes.
