Staying overnight at our group campsite is a great way to extend your stay in the beautiful Lotus Valley. Why rush home when you can spend a beautiful evening enjoying the clear night’s sky and a roaring campfire. Camping at the beautiful Camp Lotus offers an affordable alternative to other accommodations as well as a chance to get closer to nature.

Tent Camping Site
Located at the beautiful Camp Lotus. This large grassy group tent camping site with adjacent parking located along the American River is just a short walk from our South Fork meeting point. Enjoy sitting around the fire ring as you stare up at the stars and listen to the river running by. All campers have access to two separate bathroom and shower facilities with flush toilets and hot water.
Dome tents, BBQ grill with charcoal may be added for an additional cost. Want to leave all of the cooking gear behind? Ask us about our fully catered overnight trips that include lunch, dinner and breakfast the next day!

Camp Lotus has grassy, irrigated tent camping sites with adjacent parking, RV sites with full hook-ups and cozy cabins located along the South Fork of the American River. All camp sites have fire rings (with a fire grate) along with picnic tables. All campers have access to two separate bathroom and shower facilities with flush toilets and hot water.
**Tent camping (in the WET campsite located within Camp Lotus) can be reserved with your whitewater rafting trip. Dome tents are included with your tent camping stay. See tent sizing above. Camping and tent rentals must be made in advance.

Coloma Resort provides nearly one mile of river front camping along the South Fork of the American River. Every tent camping and RV site is level and has its own picnic table, campfire ring and water/electricity hook-ups. There are also 5 different cabin types to choose from.
Shuttles to and from the Coloma Resort can be arranged for your whitewater rafting trip.

Newly remodeled, spacious home on 4.5 acres, with 300 feet of waterfront on the South Fork American River. 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, updated kitchen, large wrap-around deck, 1 formal living room and 2 dens, 4 wood stoves. Beds include 1 king, 4 queens, and 1 twin (in downstairs den area).

Our cottage is a one bedroom, one bathroom small home, with a stocked kitchen & bathroom with towels, shampoo, soap, blow dryer, first aid kit, etc.. The bedroom has a freshly made queen sized bed and there is a futon in the living room. There is also a TV & VCR with family movies, board games, books and Weber charcoal BBQ for your own private use.

This studio is unique and fun! There is a new outhouse just outside with flushing toilet. There is also a full bath-house about 200 feet away with an additional toilet, shower & sink. This location provides linens, towels, coffee, shampoo, soap, bug spray & sunscreen. The studio does also have a full size kitchen stocked with all of the basic essentials.

This charming 1940’s cabin on the South Fork of the American River overlooks the river and the surrounding hills from its large covered deck, with direct access to a private sandy beach with tree shade and plenty of chairs. The cabin is clean and comfortable, and is newly refurbished including a large and fully equipped kitchen, a great room upstairs and a game room downstairs, organic beds and cotton, organic or non-allergenic bedding.

Camp Nauvoo stands for beautiful gathering place. The mission of Camp Nauvoo is to be that gathering place to bring family and friends together in beautiful and natural surroundings. Camp Nauvoo is a hidden gem featuring 86.5 secluded acres located near Placerville in Gold Country featuring a Tahoe like environment with a beautiful meadow with year round Weber Creek running through it. A perfect place for those that love the outdoors.
The property features a lodge with kitchen as well as restrooms with showers (flush toilets). 2 Glamping safari tent sites, 2 teepee sites, 8 regular tent camping sites and 3 large group sites. There is a playground, volleyball and basketball courts along with many miles of hiking trails and of course swimming in Weber Creek. We also have a campfire bowl that has group stadium seating and a lighted stage for entertainment. BBQ provided in common area adjacent to the lodge.
Welcome to Paradise, a 32 foot Outdoor RV travel trailer. Enjoy amazing views, fire pit and a propane BBQ. The one bedroom trailer is out fitted with top of the line linens, cookware and outdoor tableware. Paradise is located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills on a 5 acre horse ranch. They have farm fresh eggs available, a seasonal vegetable garden and fruit trees. Five miles from Cool, and 3 miles to Cronan Ranch where you can run, hike, mountain bike or ride horses.

On the east side of the North Fork American River, where the Colfax Iowa Hill Road crosses the river. There are 15 designated primitive campsites with picnic tables, garbage receptables, pit toilets, and fire rings. Seasonal fire restrictions may apply. No drinking water is available. A narrow paved road serves the campground. There is a 14 day camping limit. Dogs are allowed.
*16.6 miles (23 minutes) from the Middle and North Fork meeting location
Located on the Middle Fork American River, on the Placer County side, this campground offers 5 primitive campsites. The campground is at the end of a 2.5 mile gravel/dirt road. Vehicles with high clearance are strongly recommended.
Picnic tables, garbage receptables, pit toilets, and fire rings are provided. Seasonal fire restrictions may apply. No drinking water is available. Dogs are allowed. Campground is operated on a first come first serve basis.
*10.4 miles (23 minutes) from the Middle and North Fork meeting location
Located on the north west shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir, this campground is set in a cedar and pine forest overlooking the reservoir. It is near the North Fork of the American River with access to trails, OHV riding and swimming. There are 30 campsites near a little creek that feeds Sugar Pine Reservoir. Do not confuse this campground with Sugar Pine Point. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Picnic tables, garbage receptables, pit toilets, and fire rings are provided.
*35.6 miles (57 minutes) from the Middle and North Fork meeting location
Located 13 miles Northeast of Foresthill this campground offers tent and RV camping. Picnic tables, garbage receptables, pit toilets, showers, trailer dump stations and fire rings are provided. Reservations must be made 3 weeks in advance.
